Ingredients

  • 1 lbs Pork Tenderloin
  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 Tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 4 Cloves Minced Garlic
  • 1/4 C Honey
  • 2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp Rice Vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Ginger
  • 1/2 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
  • 2 C White rice
  • 1/2 C Sliced Green Onions
  • 1 Tbsp Sesame Seeds

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
  2. While the skillet heats, cut the pork tenderloin into bite-sized cubes.
  3. Once the skillet is hot, add the cubed pork to the pan in a single layer.
  4. Cook the pork for about 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it is browned on all sides.
  5. Once the pork is browned, remove it from the skillet and set it aside on a plate.
  6. In the same skillet, add 1 tablespoon of sesame oil and let it heat for a few seconds.
  7. Add 4 minced garlic cloves to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  8. Pour in 1/4 cup of honey, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of rice vinegar, 1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger, and 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes.
  9. Stir the mixture until it begins to simmer and the honey has dissolved into the sauce, about 2 minutes.
  10. Return the cooked pork to the skillet, stirring to coat the pork evenly with the sauce.
  11. Reduce the heat to low and let the pork simmer in the sauce for 3-4 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
  12. While the pork is simmering, prepare 2 cups of cooked white rice and place it in bowls.
  13. Once the pork is ready, spoon it over the cooked rice in each bowl.
  14. Sprinkle 1/2 cup of sliced green onions and 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds over the top of each rice bowl.
  15. Serve immediately and enjoy your Honey Garlic Pork Rice Bowl.
