Ingredients

  • Pork Chops
    • 4 Bone-In Pork Chops (~2.5 lbs)
    • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
    • 4 Cloves Garlic, Minced
    • 2 tsp Seasoning Salt
    • 1 tsp Onion Powder
    • 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
    • 1 tsp Thyme
  • Garlic Butter Sauce
    • 1/2 C Unsalted Butter
    • 4 Cloves Garlic, Minced
    • 1 Tbsp Chopped Fresh Parsley
    • Juice Of 1 Lemon
    • Salt & Pepper To Taste

Instructions

  1. Cook your rice (about 35 minutes without a rice cooker).
  2. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  3. Rub the pork chops with minced garlic, seasoning salt, onion powder, smoked paprika, and thyme.​
  4. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the pork chops for about 2–3 minutes per side until they develop a golden-brown crust.​
  5. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15–20 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 145–160 degrees F with a 3 minute rest.
  6. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Stir in chopped fresh parsley and lemon juice. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve over a bed of rice with a side of steamed broccoli. Drizzle the garlic butter sauce over the baked pork chops and rice just before serving.
